Shipping & Receiving Coordinator GEISMAR, LA | $19-$21/HR DOE | FULL-TIME | MONDAY-FRIDAY | ON-SITE AMMON Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who can manage the shipping and receiving process from start to finish. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Shipping & receiving experience from start to finish Experience creating daily work instructions and coordinating daily shipping/receiving activities Experience preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and carrier instructions Experience using SAP, JDEdwards, or a similar ERP/inventory system Class IV Internal Combustion Forklift Certification and experience required Valid driver's license Computer proficient and comfortable with inventory data entry Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage incoming and outgoing shipments from start to finish Create daily work instructions and prioritize shipping/receiving activities Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials Pull, prepare, pack, label, and ship orders Prepare BOLs, shipping orders, work orders, and other required documents Schedule carriers and provide shipping/delivery instructions Enter receipts, shipments, inventory adjustments, and reversals into the ERP system Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse locations Operate a forklift and move materials safely Maintain an organized warehouse and shipping area Monitor shipping supplies and coordinate basic company vehicle maintenance QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Proven shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory experience Strong computer and data-entry skills Experience with SAP, JDEdwards, or similar systems Strong attention to detail and organization Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities Reliable attendance and dependable transportation This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can take ownership of the shipping and receiving process-not just perform individual warehouse tasks.
