Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in West Palm Beach, FL, with 16 years of commercial litigation experience. The role involves representing corporate and high-net-worth clients in commercial litigation and business transaction matters. The ideal candidate will have an interest in business litigation, transactional work, and providing practical legal counsel in a collaborative environment. Duties Represent clients in court proceedings and before government agencies. Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents. Advise clients on business transactions and legal matters. Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving legal disputes. Ensure compliance with applicable legal standards, regulations, and ethical obligations. Perform administrative and case management responsibilities related to legal practice. Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective legal strategies. Requirements 16 years of litigation experience. Interest or experience in commercial/business litigation and business transactions. Prior experience serving as a trial court law clerk is preferred but not required. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and opposing counsel. Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to career development. Team-oriented, motivated, and dependable work ethic. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted, or eligible for admission, to practice law in FL. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective negotiation and client counseling skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines. Professional judgment and attention to detail.
