Salary Range Clarification: GS-07: $52,680 - $68,485 GS-09: $64,438 - $83,774 Responsibilities You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work such as reviewing key supporting documentation (KSD) for funding document request packages, conducting research and retrieving KSDs to clear suspended transactions. You will monitor and reconcile assigned accounts on a timely manner, and conduct root cause analysis of accounting errors. You will perform execution of both prior and current year funds, monitoring the status of funds, clearing unmatched transactions, and conducting Dormant Account Quarterly reviews. You will use standard office equipment including Microsoft Office suite of applications to perform your duties, both in office and virtual environments. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically Excel and Word to articulate responses to tasks; ability to independently research policy and regulations and apply information for decision making. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically Excel and Word to articulate responses to tasks; ability to independently research policy and regulations and apply information for decision making. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Substitution of education for Specialized Experience: GS-09: Successful completion of two full years of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. GS-07: Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
