General Information
Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : 30 (when opened fully in March/April). Currently at 18 withrenovations in process.
Patient Ratios : 6-7:1
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Team nursing approach with techs on the unit, US on day shift and we strive to have a free Charge Nurse to support the team.
Type of equipment : regular for Med Surg
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period
Floating policy: would be required to float to like units as the needs dictate
Patient Experience requirements: Must perform hourly safety rounds and perform bedside shift report with the patient
