Work Environment
This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home or any suitable location of your choice. Key Responsibilities
- Provide ethical, evidence-based individual counseling sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring a compassionate approach tailored to client needs.
- Utilize solution-focused and other therapeutic modalities effectively to facilitate treatment sessions aimed at achieving client goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific challenges and leverage client strengths, reviewing and adjusting these plans as necessary based on progress.
- Assist clients in gaining insights into their emotional, social, and behavioral experiences, enhancing their self-understanding and ability to cope.
- Measure and monitor client progress towards treatment goals, serving as a guide in the development of healthy coping strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your client base will include individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from stress and anxiety to relationship issues and life transitions. The diversity of cases provides an enriching experience, as you will work with clients from various backgrounds, age groups, and cultural identities. Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current state licensure (LMFT, LPC, LICSW, or PsyD) as mandated by the Washington State Board.
- Expertise in one or more therapeutic modalities is highly preferred, particularly those focused on solution-based interventions.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a telehealth setting is an advantage, particularly skills in maintaining client engagement through virtual counseling.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment progress accurately.
