Staff Accountant I

About the role You’ll own accounts receivable for your assigned Daxko product lines, from sending invoices to applying payments to collecting on past-due accounts. You’ll work closely with customers and your manager, the Assistant Controller, and you’ll help close the books each month. This role fits someone who loves getting the details right, enjoys solving problems, and stays organized when priorities compete.What you’ll doOwn full-cycle accounts receivable for your assigned product lines, including billing, customer questions, and collections on past-due accountsGenerate, review, and send monthly recurring and ad-hoc invoices, and prepare credit memos and billing adjustments that follow policyKeep the Salesforce billing case queue moving so customers get prompt answersApply customer payments and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepanciesRead new contracts, track amendments, renewals, and terminations, and manage their impact on billingSupport the monthly close by preparing schedules and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare schedules for the annual audit and tax returns, and take on special projects and ad-hoc reporting requestsWhat you’ll bringBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experienceWorking knowledge of GAAP that you apply in your daily workStrong Excel skillsClear written and verbal communication, with a customer service mindsetStrong organization, attention to detail, and analytical problem solving, with a track record of meeting deadlines when priorities competeNice to have2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experienceExperience with NetSuite (SuiteBilling especially), Anrok, Salesforce, Versapay, or TesorioFamiliarity with AI tools such as ClaudeExperience at a software or technology companyIf you don’t check every box, we still encourage you to apply.This role is desk-based and computer-based.Additional informationDaxko is dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
