Responsibilities
- Provide PTA support under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a long-term care setting
- Assist residents with treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, range of motion, and balance activities
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and document progress in the medical record
- Promote patient safety, adherence to infection control practices, and proper use of assistive devices
- Communicate effectively with the PT, nursing staff, and care team; participate in care planning and discharge planning as needed
- Maintain equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly

Requirements
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Availability to work the Days shift
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility environment
- Active PTA license or eligibility for licensure (state requirements to be verified)
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- BLS/CPR certification (certifications as applicable)
