We are looking for skilled CT/X-Ray Technologists to join our radiology team in Marietta, GA. This role involves performing CT scans and X-ray imaging with a focus on radiation safety and adherence to protocols. You will work independently as well as collaboratively within the radiology department, reporting to the Radiology Manager or Lead Technologist. This position supports imaging needs primarily in the emergency department, with availability for day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging following established protocols
- Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation safety standards
- Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment effectively
- Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records within EMR systems
- Collaborate with emergency department staff and other healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray technology
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- ARRT certification
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray imaging
- Expertise in patient positioning and radiation safety
- Proficient in image analysis and medical terminology
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
