Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU / Recovery

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday – Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients in an extended recovery unit
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including vital signs, pain levels, and level of consciousness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions and discharge readiness
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PACU / Recovery nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an extended recovery or post-surgical care setting
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with post-anesthesia assessment tools and recovery protocols
