Step into an impactful opportunity working on a contract assignment to support student success in a school-based setting near Closter, NJ. A bilingual (Hebrew/English) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC is needed to provide an evaluation for an 8th grade student as soon as possible. This on-site position centers on utilizing your specialized expertise to help shape a positive academic experience.
Desired Skills and Background:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience within school settings, evaluating and supporting students in grades K–12
- Proficiency in both Hebrew and English (verbal and written) is mandatory
- Knowledgeable in current assessment tools and IEP documentation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents professionally
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive speech-language assessment for an 8th grade student
- Analyze evaluation results and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Prepare professional reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Coordinate findings and recommendations with school teams and families
- Maintain timely and accurate evaluation records in accordance with guidelines
- Deliver services exclusively on-site in a supportive school environment
