Full-Time Housekeeper - Senior Living & Healthcare

Covenant Woods located in Hanover County, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper (Min Starting Pay $15.00 Hourly). Must have the ability to clean all areas to include cottages, apartments, assisted living areas and healthcare units to the highest standards with minimal supervision. Must be flexible and be able to Performs day to day cleaning in designated area.Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm with flexible-negotiable days.Qualifications and Skills:Must be able a good communicator.Knowledge of housekeeping methods and the use and care of cleaning supplies and equipment.Knowledgeable in the use of floor cleaning equipment, washer and dryer machines desired.One year of housekeeping experience preferred.Work requires standing and walking for most or all of the workday.Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently.Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 20 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds.We recognize that our continued success is thanks to our employees. Use of the hands is required for at least half of a day. Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently. Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 25 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds. Team lift up to 50lbs. Intact sense of sight required. Must be able to communicate, interpret, speak, write and read English.Working Conditions:May work in environments with dust, fumes or odors. May work inside or outside in hot or cold temperatures and in wet or dry conditions.May be subject to infections, odors, or diverse behaviors.
