Service Center Manager - Indiana H&A Recruiter A growing equipment and service organization is seeking a Service Center Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a service and sales facility in the Central Indiana market. This role is responsible for managing people, processes, and performance while delivering a high level of service to customers and supporting long-term business growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts well to change, and takes ownership of operational results. Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the service center, including service execution, scheduling, and shop performance Partner with senior leadership to establish annual goals and operational priorities Drive service revenue growth while maintaining a strong customer-first focus Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to identify service opportunities Increase shop productivity and billable hours year over year Recommend capital investments to improve service capacity, efficiency, and quality Manage staffing, facilities, tools, systems, and operational reporting Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, goal setting, and ongoing feedback Establish and enforce processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality Handle hiring decisions, time approvals, and performance-related actions Maintain flexibility and prioritization in a fast-moving environment For more information on this position, please contact Kingston Wynn at Herk & Associates: Prior supervisory or management experience in a service, shop, or operations environment Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Decisive leadership style with the ability to solve problems under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills Mechanical aptitude; experience in equipment or technical service environments preferred Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience a plus Willingness to work extended hours as business needs require Equal Opportunity Employer All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
