About the Position

We are seeking a Physician Assistant - General Surgery for a 20-day assignment in Washington. This inpatient role requires coverage for two weeks per month, with 12-hour shifts either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The Physician Assistant will be involved in pediatric surgeries, including consultations and procedures like HMP or endoscopic appendectomy, as well as general trauma surgical care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform pediatric surgeries
• Consult on pediatric cases
• Participate in procedures such as HMP or endoscopic appendectomy
• Provide trauma surgery APC services
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic taps
• Offer general surgical care
• Perform suturing
