Step into a contract opportunity serving a dynamic school community near Appleton, WI, from September 16, 2026, through January 29, 2027, in support of an FMLA leave. This part-time position covers multiple facets of school psychology, with responsibilities across a local elementary school, early childhood diagnostics, and private school assessment roles.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in school settings, with familiarity in classroom observations, functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), and academic assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including school social workers and special education staff.
• Experience conducting early childhood (EC) play-based assessments with children ages 2-5 preferred.
• Skilled in crisis response and equipped to participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings.
• Strong communication and organization skills for effective evaluation documentation and team collaboration.

Role Responsibilities:

• Attend SST meetings and collaborate with school teams to support student needs.
• Conduct classroom observations and academic assessments as part of special education evaluations.
• Administer play-based early childhood assessments one day per week, focusing on children aged 2-5.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations for private school referrals.
• Provide crisis response and support as needed within the school setting.
• Work in partnership with the school social worker and faculty to ensure a positive, supportive learning environment for all students.
