License: Must have a valid nursing license.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. Advanced certification in AWHONN or NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced.

Must-Have: Experience with IV start and labor & delivery. Epic experience required.

Description: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required. Candidates must possess a nursing license in good standing. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are mandatory. Advanced certification in AWHONN or NCC C-EFM is acceptable. Experience must include IV starts and labor and delivery. Knowledge of the Epic charting system is essential. There may be a requirement to float to different units as needed. Previous travel experience is preferred. Expectation to provide care for neonates, adolescents, and adults. Unit performs approximately 450 deliveries per month. Candidates should be able to perform a variety of clinical skills including administration of blood products, antepartum care, and postpartum care. Skills required include starting and maintaining IVs and conducting sterile vaginal exams. Candidates are expected to effectively manage patient ratios during their shift. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is fundamental for ensuring patient care. This role involves responding to high-risk antepartum cases and managing complex labor situations. All candidates must comply with fingerprinting requirements as part of the onboarding process. Professional references are required from previous roles. No coworker references will be accepted. Travel candidates must ensure their availability aligns with scheduling needs and compliance timelines.
