Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator (Manassas, VA - Onsite)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
•Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and (desired) enterprise Nutanix HCI environments
•Support daily operational activities, incident resolution, and customer requests.
•Monitor system health, performance, security, and availability.
•Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
•Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and backup verification.
•Troubleshoot infrastructure issues involving servers, storage, networking, and directory services.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to IT standards, compliance requirements, and security policies.
•Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to meet operational and project requirements.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
•Experience with:

oWindows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration

oVMware virtualization technologies

oDNS and Active Directory services

oSAN/NAS storage and backup solutions (desired)

oEnterprise server hardware in a data center environment
•Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or RHCE.
•Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
•Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
