Green Dog Dental & Veterinary Center is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon or surgery-focused DVM to help build and lead a new surgical service across our established and still growing Los Angeles hospitals.

This is not a corporate specialty role. It is an opportunity to build something personal, thoughtful, and high-level inside hospitals designed to support the doctor experience, the patient experience, and excellent medicine.

Our Van Nuys hospital is a brand-new, customizable, world-class facility built to optimize clinical workflow, comfort, and doctor quality of life. Our Venice clinic is spacious, beautiful, and located just two blocks from the beach. Both hospitals include dual surgery suites, dedicated support areas, advanced imaging/CT, and the infrastructure to support a serious surgical service.

We are looking for the right surgeon to help shape the service, define the caseload, guide equipment needs, and build something exceptional.

We are open to a surgeon whose interests include soft tissue, orthopedic, maxillofacial, minimally invasive, surgical oncology, wound reconstruction, or another focused surgical niche.

• ACVS / ECVS board-certified
• Residency-trained
• Surgery-internship trained
• Advanced surgery-focused DVM with strong experience

We care less about forcing one exact title and more about finding the right doctor to build this service with us.

The Opportunity

We bring the hospitals, team, clients, equipment support, teaching culture, and operational backbone to help the service grow.

This role may be structured as full-time, production-based, contract, or service-building depending on the right fit.

• Compensation: Salary+ Production/Bonus - $250,000-$400,000+
