As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will support prescription fulfillment operations, assist pharmacists, and ensure accuracy and efficiency across workflows.

• Closed-door facility (no patients/customers)
• Feels more like a  warehouse or distribution center than a pharmacy
• Highly structured workflows and production metrics
• Heavy use of  automation, robotics, and conveyor systems
• Teams include techs, pharmacists, fulfillment specialists, and operations leaders

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $21.60/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is  Sun-Thu 10:00pm to 6:00am (off Fri/Sat)

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Enter and process patient prescription data using our systems
• Handle refill requests and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Troubleshoot missing or incorrect prescription information
• Interpret SIG codes and resolve data entry exceptions
• Operate automated dispensing and sorting machinery
• Count, fill, label, pack, and ship prescriptions
• Maintain workflow accuracy and quality control standards
• Resolve third-party insurance rejections and resubmit claims
• Support pharmacists and escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active  Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic computer and internet navigation skills
• Intermediate typing skills (25+ WPM)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts
