Part Time Phlebotomist Job Locations: US-AR-Fayetteville Overview The Phlebotomist will collect and handle various sample types from patients of all ages in a professional and compassionate manner. Certification in phlebotomy and/or relevant experience in patient care is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient interaction. This Part‑time position will be scheduled to work Monday thru Friday from 7:30am - 1:30pm. Responsibilities Maintain accuracy in all work; complete tasks on time and per any deadlines, label specimens with a high degree of accuracy, ensure proper tubes are used for each blood test ordered Verify the identity of every patient before collecting any samples Proper identification and sample collection at all times Be aware of Medicare guidelines, send‑out test requirements, and special tests; explain Medicare ABNs to patients clearly and accurately Perform venipuncture and finger/heel stick procedures with a high degree of professionalism and concern for the patient, including a minimum of 2 sticks per encounter Collect nasal swabs, throat swabs, and blood cultures when needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience preferred; but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
