Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for OB/GYN patients across prenatal, gynecologic, and postpartum care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during prenatal visits, labor, and postpartum, including fetal monitoring per certificate requirements.
- Administer medications and procedures within scope, including conscious sedation and termination services, per physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and adjust nursing care plans; coordinate with the OB/GYN team; provide patient and family education; plan for discharge or transfer.
- Assist with perioperative OB/GYN care (OR/PACU) as needed; maintain aseptic technique and patient safety standards.
- Document accurately in the medical record and respond promptly to changes in patient condition; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate
- 2+ years of outpatient OB/GYN nursing experience, including conscious sedation and termination services
- Ability to work daytime shifts in a hospital OB/GYN setting
