QA Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Austin, TX • 2+ Months Position is Hybrid at the location listed above (Mondays & Wednesdays are Remote – Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays are onsite). The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY. Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas. Level Description 8 or more years of experience required. Candidate should be able to independently perform complex tasks, rely on experience and judgment to accomplish goals, and demonstrate strong creativity and problem-solving skills. Job Description QA Automation Engineers design and develop automated tests by creating scripts that execute testing functions automatically. Responsibilities include prioritizing test scenarios, developing execution plans, maintaining testing documentation, and supporting both manual and automated testing efforts. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright or similar technologies, creating and executing manual and automated test scripts, tracking test execution, and establishing automated test schedules and reporting. The position also involves defect tracking using Jira, maintaining requirements traceability matrices, supporting Agile development teams, troubleshooting test cases, supporting UAT activities, and providing on-call support when needed.
