ID: 62994313 Shift: 08:00-16:30 Description: Description:4/24 - Offer made; leaving open until acceptedSHIFT:5Days-8HoursSTART: ASAPRATE: $80Type of patients on the unit: Primarily adult echo with occasional pediatric tele-medREQUIREDLicenses, Registrations, or CertificationsBLS requiredDCS, RCS, RDMS through ARDMS or CCIWeekend Requirement:Weekend is rotating every 5th weekOn Call Requirement:On call 1 week every 5th weekNurse / Patient Ratio:6-8 echos per daySummary:Performqualitydiagnosticechocardiologyproceduresindependentofsupervisionandrespondstothecardiologistsinputasappropriate.Assumeresponsibilityforrelatedtasksasassigned.Promotesteambuildinginitiativeswithinservicelineanddepartmentsserviced.Behaviorandcommunicationskillsmustalignwiththeorganizationsmission,values,andculture.Responsibilities:Performsallroutineechocardiogramsforevaluationofpossibleabnormalheartdefectsordisease.Assistsphysicianswithtransesophagealechocardiograms.Performsstressechocardiogramstoevaluateforcoronaryarterydisease.Notifiesphysiciansdailyforexaminterpretation.Checksweeklyforneededsupplies.Demonstratescompetencetoperformassignedpatientcareresponsibilitiesinamannerthatmeetstheagespecificanddevelopmentalneedsofpatientsservedbythedepartment.Appropriatelyadaptsassessment,treatment,and/orservicemethodstoaccommodateage-specificorotherdevelopmentalneedsofofthepatient.DemonstratesadherencetotheCorevaluesofChristusHealthcare.Performsotherdutiesasassigned.Requirements:Education/SkillsHighSchoolDiplomarequiredGraduateofanaccreditedschoolofUltrasoundTechnologypreferredExperienceTwoyearsofexperienceincardiologyfieldpreferredExperiencewithstresstestingispreferredLicenses,Registrations,orCertificationsBLSrequiredDCS,RCS,RDMSthroughARDMSorCCIWorkSchedule:5Days-8HoursWorkType:FullTime General CommentsTypeofpatientsontheunit:PrimarilyadultechowithoccasionalpediatrictelemedTemptopermisapossibility No. of Positions: 1/1.
