Workday HCM Analyst

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Lead functional discovery sessions with HR process owners to capture user stories and requirements, translating business challenges into clean technical specifications and scalable Workday solutions. Cross-Functional HCM Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain business processes, validation rules, condition rules, and custom notifications across multiple modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, and Talent/Performance. End-to-End Functional Optimization: Evaluate existing tenant configuration across HR streams to eliminate operational friction, improve process flow, and ensure consistent configuration practices across modules. Biannual Release Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive functional release readiness by creating comprehensive test scenarios, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and executing regression testing during Workday's R1 and R2 feature updates. Agile Delivery & Production Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional tickets across various Workday modules, identifying root causes and configuring durable fixes in sprint delivery cycles. Job Qualifications Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on functional Workday configuration experience in a multi-module environment. Multi-Module Functional Expertise: Demonstrated track record configuring and supporting Core HCM alongside at least two secondary functional modules (e.g., Recruiting, Compensation, or Talent & Performance). Deep expertise in Business Process (BP) framework architecture, condition rules, validation rules, and custom notifications. Strong ability to translate complex HR policies into actionable, hands-on Workday functional setups. Proficiency utilizing calculated fields to drive functional business logic and conditional routing. Testing & Quality Assurance: Extensive experience defining test strategy, writing scenario-based test scripts, and coordinating end-to-end UAT across cross-functional HR teams. Agile & Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proven experience operating within an agile team structure and collaborating with diverse HR stakeholders. Strong Workday Absence experience is the #1 priority, followed by Time. Needs hands-on configuration with time-off plans, eligibility rules, time-off periods, and troubleshooting. Broader HCM module experience is a plus. Candidate should also be able to support work beyond Absence over time and help improve delivery processes. Andrea will lead the interviews/evaluation.
