Description
  • Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Work hand-in-hand with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapy goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise routines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated patient care.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist .
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Additional specialized certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
  • Demonstrated experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges.
