Safety Coordinator

Join Safety Worxs for 3 months in Fargo, ND as a Safety Coordinator in this dynamic P3 flood management project. The work currently focused on the construction of the aqueduct and channels work. Responsibilities Administer compliance with the safety program and lead accident prevention efforts to ensure company and project safety goals are met. Conduct site inspections of project work areas and equipment. Develop, organize, and implement safety related programs that meet company safety standards. Assist in the investigation of accidents and determine root causes and recommend corrective / preventive measures. Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with a focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors. Coordinate and conduct safety meetings/training programs to ensure effective communication amongst new and existing employees. Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Carry out any other assigned tasks given by the Area Safety Manager or Area Project Manager. Qualifications Spanish/English bilingual (highly preferred) 3-5 years\' safety experience in heavy civil construction Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting Must be able to stand, walk, and climb multiple flights of stairs. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years’ safety experience in heavy construction (marine works, tunnel, or roadway) OSHA 500 Hour Construction Safety Trained CSHO - Certified Safety and Health Official Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in Safety Training and Incident Investigation Team player with a professional image, capable of handling highly confidential information Exercise excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Safety Worxs, LLC
