Radiology Technologist

The hospital features 140 private patient rooms; emergency care; advanced cardiac and stroke care; orthopedics; general and surgical specialties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility.
• Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred.
• Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluoro license and active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required
• Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology knowledge.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.
• Use of radiologic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector.
• Competent at table side scrub in with physicians on various Cath and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
• Understands the use of an IVUS machine.
• Solid understanding of English, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on a regular basis.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to foster teamwork among fellow staff members.
• Must have experience in performing a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Demonstrates evidence of ability to prioritize based on and increased acuity of patients and their needs.
• Able to organize, plan and set priorities and complete assignments with minimal assistance and within designated work hours.
• Takes initiative to recognize and report appropriate areas of concern.
