Pump AssemblerJoin a dynamic and small manufacturing company specializing in producing custom pumps tailored to customer specifications. You will work with cutting-edge technology and time-proven product lines, assembling pumps using prints and hand tools.ResponsibilitiesBuild customer-specific pumps, each unique to the client's requirements.Work off a set of prints to ensure accurate assembly.Utilize hand tools to assemble pumps efficiently and correctly.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools, including tape measures.A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in plumbing, specifically with PVC or stainless pipes.Previous carpentry experience.Understanding of heat penetration for plastic fabrication is preferred.Experience in metal welding is a plus but not mandatory.This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth. The manager fosters a non-micromanaging atmosphere, empowering employees to work independently.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
