Entry Level Staff Accountant

Overview Job Summary: Vitis Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting functions within a multi-entity environment. Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. Help maintain accurate financial records and support daily transaction processing. Participate in month-end close activities under the supervision of senior staff. Provide general administrative and clerical support for the accounting team. Assist with audit preparation and documentation gathering. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing final coursework). Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central strongly preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
