Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, three days a week, rotating every other weekend. No on-call required.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room, you will provide high-quality care in a fully equipped ER setting. Your expertise will contribute to efficient patient care and a safe environment for all individuals seeking emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including x-ray, lab, and CT scans.
• Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Preferred: TNCC certification.
