TIG Welder

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Welder to join their dynamic team. As a Welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of ultra-high purity systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Welder Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Pay Range: $24-25/hr Shift: Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift 3pm to 11:30pm What's the Job? Perform welding tasks on components used in Ultra High Purity Systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding. Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds. Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions. Participate in routine operations, maintain cleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel. Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately. Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. What's in it for me?
