AllTruckJobs is working with Averitt Express to find a qualified Dedicated Company Driver in Eastaboga, Alabama!

As a dedicated local driver, you'll enjoy the benefits of working with consistent, reliable customers. • Average Weekly Earnings: $1,187 - $1,874 per week
• Annual Pay: Average $62,000 - $97,000 per year (depending on bid route)
• Starting Pay: 60.5 cpm
• Miles Per Week: Average of 2,000 miles
• Stop Pay: $20.50 per stop (Average 5-8 stops per week)
• Additional Pay: Detention and breakdown pay available

Consistent Schedule:

• Home Daily: Night shift position
• Work 5 Days a Week: 2 days off (not back-to-back)

Route and Responsibilities:

• Route and responsibilities will be provided to the driver by Site Leadership
• Types of Freight: A mix of reefer and dry van (reefer experience not required - training provided)
• Cargo: Hauling food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to customer store locations in AL, GA, TN and Ridgeland, MS
• No Touch Freight: 100% no touch freight

• Drivers bid on routes twice a year based on seniority

Requirements

• Drivers must live within a 75-mile radius
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years
• Drivers must have Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions:

• Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
