At Scooter's Coffee - Glen Carbon, we’re passionate about serving amazing coffee with a smile and creating a welcoming space for our customers. Located in Glen Carbon, IL, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and fostering a supportive and energetic work environment. We’re currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and thrive. This role offers approximately 30 hours per week and requires availability for weekend and some holiday shifts.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll assist with overseeing team performance, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring that every cup of coffee served meets our quality expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll help with scheduling, training team members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership will help keep the team motivated and the store running efficiently.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays as needed.
