Scanner – Central Business Office The Department of The Central Business Office has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Scanner to work in Miami, FL. The Scanner prepares, organizes, validates and scans documents into the applicable system; ensuring digital copies are accurate and saved appropriately. Core Job Functions Loads pages for scanning and disposes and/or files original documents ensuring contents remain confidential. Sorts documents and prepares batches for scanning based on prescribed classifications. Troubleshoots and adjusts scanning equipment to ensure scanned files are clear. Examines documents to ensure they are complete and reports any issues to appropriate managing staff. Reviews daily reports for missing documents. Conducts quality checks to ensure proper transferal and indexing of scanned images. Prints and saves imaged documents. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Core Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications. Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
