Sales Merchandiser

Pay Range: $50,600/year Job Overview The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is responsible for selling, ordering and presenting Coca‑Cola products. The role includes selling new products and promotions, collaborating with customers to generate accurate product orders, ensuring commercial plans are executed across the account base, and merchandising products and packages using safe handling techniques while following all quality guidelines. Duties & Responsibilities Manage, sell, and execute in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes; generate sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency to support revenue, volume, and gross profit. Execute applicable promotions and new products according to target lists, LOS initiatives, marketing promotions, Point‑Of‑Sale, and commercial plans to maintain high RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers. Fill, merchandize, and rotate products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs. Organize and maintain the back room by stacking, arranging product by package and flavor, and handling return of empty pallets, shells, damaged, or out‑of‑date product. Create and distribute point‑of‑sale materials on display and shelf where permitted; rotate product and check vendor operations for proper execution. Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow‑up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activity discussions. Identify and communicate any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, strategic changes) and carry out all duties safely. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Effective communication skills – listening, speaking, and writing. Prior customer service experience in a retail setting preferred. Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly). Critical thinking skills. Secondary education beyond high school preferred. High initiative and willingness to learn. Career‑mindfulness and a highly competitive nature. Minimum Qualifications Valid in‑state driver’s license. Excellent driving record. Proof of insurance policy verifying coverage of at least $50,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $50,000 property damage and a deductible of $500 or less, effective from the first day of employment. High school education or GED. Preferred Qualifications None. Work Environment The work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may not be temperature controlled.
