Economics InstructorAntelope Valley College invites applications for our adjunct (temporary, part-time) faculty applicant pool for the following discipline: Economics Instructor.Representative DutiesInstruct students in the assigned discipline.Assignment may include teaching courses during the day, evening, online and/or off-campus sites.Minimum QualificationsRequired Minimum Qualifications: (Applicant must meet one of the following requirements)Most current Minimum Qualifications for Faculty in California Community Colleges: Master's in economics OR Bachelor's in economics AND Master's in business, business administration, business management, business education, finance, or political science OR equivalent.Academic Senate's approved equivalency: No current equivalencyAND Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic background of community college students.Desirable Qualification: Experience and/or willingness to instruct prison coursesApplication ProcessThis position requires the following documents to be attached to your online application in order to be considered:ApplicationCurrent resumeLetter of intent that addresses minimum and desirable qualifications.Scanned copy of official transcripts with required degree(s).
