Job Details Location: CEC Wyoming Office - Cheyenne, WY 82007 Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Position Summary The Field Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing job‑site logistics in commercial and industrial settings, including delivery management, inventory data entry, and overseeing a team of up to ten field logistics professionals. The role is safety‑sensitive and requires strong leadership and supply‑chain collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations and customer service. Coach and train onsite logistics teams, instilling best practices for productivity. Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. Establish priorities for a small crew across multiple areas of operations. Act as a leader within the company’s supply chain to ensure established practices are followed. Provide material handling support to assigned job‑site areas. Assist projects with the execution of a project‑specific site logistics plan. Coordinate with off‑site construction, warehousing, and outside suppliers to ensure all material and tooling requirements are met. Support remobilization of crews to maintain construction operations. Develop systems and procedures for maximum productivity and safety. Understand, plan, and execute onsite requirements through meetings, drawings, and collaboration with other trades. Coordinate with project leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Manage logistics key performance indicators and report to leaders. Apply knowledge of logistics processes and Lean techniques. Perform related duties as assigned to ensure efficient processes, project completion, and smooth departmental operation. Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent. 8+ years of warehouse, supply‑chain, or logistics experience. Experience in construction or a related field. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel from 0% to 100% of the time to various locations across the U.S. in support of job‑site logistics operations. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tools and general construction materials. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass drug and background checks. Excellent leadership, decision‑making, problem‑solving, and strategic planning skills. Effective written, speaking, and listening skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including building trust and implementing process improvements. Ability to read and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions. Ability to analyze tool and material requests for delivery scheduling. Proficiency with warehouse software and technology. Excellent customer service and time‑management skills. Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics. Ability to delegate tasks efficiently based on team strengths. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on ladders, scaffolds, and confined spaces. Strong relationships with leaders, direct reports, and stakeholders. Work Environment The role may involve inside and outside work, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, and work in construction areas such as ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and confined spaces. The position requires a safe work attitude and compliance with OSHA standards. Physical Demands Bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead. Lift 51 pounds routinely. Climb ladders of all types. Work full day assignments involving overhead work. Operate personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest) at all times.
