Visa sponsorship provided: No Location: Birmingham Remote Status: no remote Pay Type: Annual Salary Salary: 60000-80000/UK Pound Sterling Occupational Categories: Government Industry(ies): Consulting Services,Government/ Civil Services,Information Technology,Recruiting / Staffing,Software,Telecommunications Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant.You’ll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructure—not solely maintaining existing environments.Key responsibilitiesDesign, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructureCreate automated CI/CD pipelinesDevelop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as TerraformBuild and operate platforms for containerised applicationsSupport software deployment, monitoring and operational performanceLead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycleAdvise customers on AWS architecture and technology choicesManage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverablesMentor engineers and support junior team membersPromote Agile best practices, including Scrum and KanbanWhat we’re looking forStrong commercial AWS experienceProven experience building new cloud infrastructureHands-on experience with Infrastructure as CodeStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisationExperience with technologies such as Terraform, Docker and KubernetesGood understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practicesExperience delivering within Agile teamsAbility to lead technical solutions and take ownership of deliveryStrong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skillsExperience mentoring or supporting other engineersSecurity requirementsApplicants must:Be a British citizenHave lived permanently in the UK for the last five yearsBe eligible to obtain UK security clearanceInterested?
