Parts Inventory Specialist

THE JOB OF PARTS INVENTORY SPECIALIST INVOLVES

Works closely with technicians and the operations team to source and acquire required parts and materials. Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory levels; generate reports and provide updates to relevant departments. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to designated locations. Monitor and expedite shipments to minimize delays and support continuous operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or order discrepancies. Maintain clear communication with internal teams regarding parts status and material availability. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency in parts procurement and inventory management. Receive, organize, and store inventory in designated areas. Travel between inventory locations across the mine site to manage stock levels, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper housekeeping. Work in compliance with MSHA regulations and site safety requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work safely and consistently under MSHA guidelines. Previous experience in warehouse, freight, or inventory operations preferred but not required.
