What does a typical day look like?

Responsibilities

As a Prep Cook, these are the results you'll be hired to accomplish:

• Accurate & high-quality food preparation
• Quick & efficient execution of prep lists
• Meticulous inventory rotation & organization
• Squeaky clean & organized prep & storage areas

Pay

The total compensation for this position will be between $18.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Work schedule

This position can be part-time or full-time, with a flexible schedule designed around the demands of the prep kitchen. This position will have a flexible schedule, with fluctuations based on weekly forecasted sales and special events. Morning and afternoon shifts are most common, but occasional evening shifts may be necessary.

Job requirements:

Here are some of our must-haves & would-like-to-haves:

• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, preferably in high-volume food production - strongly preferred
• Must have current ServSafe Food Handler Certification
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Physically able to stand, walk, and move for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• For part-time positions, must have consistent availability during peak shifts - including nights, weekends, and holidays
• For full-time positions, must have open availability
• Familiarity with MarginEdge - a plus!
