About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Industry for Brand Partnerships to join their dynamic team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and market leadership within a specific industry vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the commercial strategy, setting the vision for success, and personally driving new business. This includes generating and growing revenue across various commercial solutions such as social branded content, influencer marketing, and sponsorships. The role also involves shaping go-to-market strategy, elevating senior relationships, and mentoring the next generation of sellers to ensure the company is recognized as a trusted tier-one social publishing partner in the industry. Applicants for the Head of Industry, Brand Partnerships position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in media sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and leading a category or vertical. A deep, senior-level contact book across relevant industry sectors is essential, as is a strong understanding of social media channels. The role requires a self-starter with excellent negotiation skills, the ability to lead senior client and agency conversations, and a passion for delivering great work and strong business outcomes.
