Claims Associate II- Auto

Overview Zurich is hiring a Claims Associate II to join the Auto Claims Team. This role provides an entry‑level opportunity to learn how to interpret, investigate, and evaluate policies and coverage issues, and to apply best practices in claims handling. Responsibilities Manage liability and property damage claims caseload of low to moderate exposure. Own assigned claims from beginning to end, resolving claims in accordance with best practices. Build partnerships with customers and brokers, and may be aligned to specific accounts. Coordinate occasional in‑office attendance as required by the hybrid work model. Work Model Hybrid: conduct individual work remotely with flexibility, while collaborating in person when necessary. Eligible offices include Omaha, Addison, Schaumburg, and Atlanta. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (no prior claims experience required) OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in Customer Service OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree (no prior claims experience required). Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s). Experience with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing. Analytical and organizational skills. Ability to multi‑task. Strong communication abilities. Adaptability to a changing environment. Experience with bodily injury claims. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate range: $22.40–$30.87, with 5% short‑term incentive bonus eligibility. Eligible for bonuses and merit increases. Comprehensive benefits for employees and families.
