Pay Range: $32/hr  $36/hr (W2)
Worksite: US-IN-Greendale-601 Rudolph Way
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in routine analytical testing, instrument calibration, and laboratory documentation and a proven ability to support product monitoring and technical studies through accurate, timely data generation .

Responsibilities:

• Perform TPA testing, including calibration for position and force.
• Conduct pH testing with required instrument calibration.
• Execute solids testing, including Brix standard readings.
• Perform water activity (aW) testing with appropriate standard readings.
• Run colorimeter testing, including calibration for white and black points.
• Prepare samples, calibrate instruments, and execute approved test methods.
• Document results with accuracy and maintain laboratory readiness.
• Communicate testing status and updates to the Technical Services team.
• Support ongoing studies, including Extended Cure, Oiling, Weekly, and Bulk Hold studies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing routine laboratory testing, sample preparation, and analytical data documentation.
• Ability to follow established procedures and execute calibrated instrument testing while maintaining accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize multiple samples, test requests, and aging time points.
• Effective communication skills for testing updates, follow-up, and documentation support.

Preferred Skills:

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant laboratory experience considered.

Physical/Mental Requirements and Safety Considerations:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; use of hands; talking or hearing.
• Occasional sitting, climbing or balancing; tasting or smelling as required by testing protocols.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level is usually moderate.
