Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Title

Responsibilities:

1. 13+ years’ experience with distributed applications at scale in cloud (AWS), or equivalent experience.
2. Expert knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns
3. Proven experience scaling large, distributed applications
4. Strong background in infrastructure and application security
5. Hands-on experience with Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, CDN, DDoS mitigation)
6. Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
7. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
8. Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and compute resources
9. Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations by implementing security controls, access management, and encryption
10. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications
11. Authoring automated deployments using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
12. Automated provision/orchestration of AWS resources
13. System performance monitoring, reporting and optimization
14. Experience with containers (Docker, EKS) and serverless (Lambda).
15. Experience in implementing various AWS solutions like Data Sync, Batch Job, EMR
16. Experience bootstrapping and automating the build of complete Kubernetes environments
17. Experience with automated build in Jenkins or similar CI tools
18. Experience in managing multiple AWS environments and the AWS ecosystem.
