Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Outpatient Clinic (Urology) position requiring a urology background, Epic proficiency, and prior travel experience.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic setting focused on urology patient care,
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM,
• Patient ratio of 1 nurse to 6-8 patients,
• No weekends, on-call, or floating required within this unit,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Urology clinical background required,
• Prior travel nursing experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered,
• Experience in ER, pre/post-op, day surgery/ambulatory, or home health is a plus,
• Epic EMR proficiency required,
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting,
• SSN and DOB required for consideration,
• Current BLS certification required,

Additional Information

• Travelers at this health system may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination,
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; requests should be disclosed upfront prior to submission
