Corporate Sales Executive

Polaris Logistics Group, based in Toledo, OH, is searching for an experienced Corporate Transportation Executive. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry contacts and will cultivate relationships with existing and prospective customers in order to ensure business development success. This individual will develop relationships and meet with shippers in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with the operations and management teams to ensure the success of new client implementation. Responsibilities: Develop new business anywhere in the country from Polaris' database of potential customers. Generate new business anywhere in the country for Polaris with candidate's existing network of contacts. Work directly with sales and management to discover opportunities from Polaris' current customers. Display a broad knowledge of Polaris' main modes of transportation. Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills. Learn Polaris' technology systems for increased efficiency within Polaris and to better sell to clients. Meet with customers and leads in their home markets. Qualifications: Extensive Industry Experience with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. 7+ years' of experience in related role. Strong communication and time management skills. Candidate must reside in the Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan region. Compensation: The role has a competitive salary with commissions and bonuses. Compensation package ranges from $100,000-$300,000/year or more. Salary depends on experience and market: generally $80,000-$120,000/year. Commission is based on profitability from new sales over a several years: generally $30,000-$150,000/year.
