divh2Job Title/h2pPosition Summary/ppThis position is responsible for the operations of company vehicles, safety and security of cargo, loading/unloading supplies, pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting on inspection results./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliUnderstand and adhere to all state and federal DOT regulations/liliComplete and maintain records as required by the Company and government regulations/liliLoad and unload or assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products/liliRemain abreast of the dangers and hazards of products and take proper precaution/liliClean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment/li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level/pulliHas developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on the job experience/liliCompletes work with a limited degree of supervision/liliLikely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience/li/ulpEducation Experience/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred/lili3-5 years relevant experience required/liliPrior truck driving experience preferred/liliMust be able to maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record to drive for the company according to DOT standards and the Companys Vehicle Safety and Driver Qualification Policy/liliMust hold and maintain a current Class A CDL/liliHAZMAT endorsement preferred/li/ulpPhysical Requirements and Working Environment/pulliWill be required to work long hours and overtime to meet seasonal demands in certain areas of the business/liliMust be able to stand for an extended period of time/liliAbility to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds/liliMust be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet/liliWorks indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures/liliWorking conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces/li/ulpThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
