Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2423.52/week - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through effective coordination and clinical expertise. Responsibilities: Assess patients preoperatively to determine their health status and readiness for surgery. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to surgical procedures. Operate and monitor surgical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth surgical procedures. Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols. Document patient care activities, intraoperative events, and post-operative instructions accurately. Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice. Minimum of two years recent experience working in an operating room environment. Current BLS certification from an approved provider. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization techniques, and patient safety standards. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
