Job Title: SHIFT LEADER/MANAGER ASSISTANT Job Location: Alexandria, VA Description Shift Leader/Manager Assistant – AM/PM Position Summary This is an on hands and working position. As a Shift Leader/Manager Assistant it is your responsibility to ensure employees perform a variety of tasks, from preparing food, answering questions, serving, running staff, and making sure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures. You must always maintain good customer service. General Requirements Ability to Coach - To positively guide to improve performance and focuses for each member of the team. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety legislation/guidelines. Train and develop new employees. Resolve customer issues to their overall satisfaction. Work closely with Store Manager to lead staff. Oversee and conduct inventory. Take disciplinary actions when necessary. Maintain store to standards including stocking and cleaning. Complete or delegate tasks assigned by the General Manager accurately and efficiently. Open/close store and audit cash.
