Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging to meet patient needs
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, delivering clear and compassionate explanations at every step
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imagery
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any issues to ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to continually enhance service delivery

Educational Background

• Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strongly preferred
