We are looking for System Administrator candidates to work in support of onsite customer at WPAFB.RequirementsWork with the engineering team to work cross-functionally across the ISSO, IO, and Operations organizationManage and administer Thin Clients (AWS Cloud Hosted)Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain the 10ZiG Manager server instance hosted inside the AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)Develop, push, and test operating system configurations to physical thin and zero client hardware devicesAdminister automated security patches, manage SSL/TLS certificates for secure client-to-manager communication, and oversee device enrollmentBuild configurations to repurpose legacy desktop hardware into secure, streamlined thin-client endpointsStrong experience working with VDI platforms and thin clients (AVD, AWS, Workspaces, Horizon)Skills RequiredCompTIA Security+BS in Information Technology or closely related fieldSecurity RequirementsUS Citizenship RequiredActive TS/SCI clearance held by the DoD requiredPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop SpecialtyAWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps AdministratorVMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) or Omnissa Horizon credentialsPreferred Experience and Technical PrerequisitesExperience configuring and operating 10ZiG Manager or equivalent thin-client deployment consolesStrong technical communication skills, with experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical design blueprints, and system whitepapersDocumented experience executing STIG checklists and supporting CTO/ATO documentation packages in highly regulated enterprise environmentsAbout NextGen:NextGen Federal Systems is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services.
